There are over 100 wildflower species shown from each of the eight geographic areas, most with over 200. (Sierra Nevada - 322; Southwestern California - 253; Central Western California - 215 Northwestern California - 211; Desert Province - 146; Cascade Ranges - 176; Great Basin Province - 123; and Great Central Valley - 116).
